Syriac: msheeho natareh l’eedtokh
or msheeho natareh l’eedtokh (Abdallah)
Who can fully comprehend God as Holy Trinity?
So great is this mystery far beyond our scrutiny!
The Father, before all time, begot the Son,
the Eternal Word.
The Begotten Son took flesh from the holy Virgin’s womb.
The Spirit was sent to give courage and perfèct.
All creation worships him, the Lord of all,
in three persons, one true God.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and for ever. Amen.
O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, one in substance, we ask you to strengthen, protect, and sanctify our souls and bodies, for we are weak. May we grow in purity all the days of our lives. O Lord our God, to you be glory and thanks, forever. Amen.
Let us raise glory, honor, and praise to God, who is known in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the one true God. The angels glorify him and people on earth thank, worship, and exalt him. To the Good One be glory and honor, on this feast, and all the days of our lives, and forever. Amen.
O Most Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the one true God, without division and beyond our understanding, you are the hope, strength, refuge, and salvation of those who believe in you.
Now we implore you, with the fragrance of this incense, to pardon those who have done wrong, guide those who have gone astray, perfect those who are righteous, and purify those who have sinned. Be a father to orphans and care for widows. Feed the poor, dispel all doubts, comfort the sorrowful, soften hardened hearts, and fill oppressors with compassion. Satisfy the hungry, assist the distressed, and accept those who repent. May we and all the faithful departed, our fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters, and our leaders believe in you and rejoice in your kingdom. We raise glory, thanks, and adoration to you, forever. Amen.
Syriac: bo’ooto dmor ya’qoob (moryo moran)
God the Father, hidden from us,
we give you praise,
and we thank you, O eternal and only Son.
We exalt you, Holy Spirit.
God, three in one;
Trinity, without division,
we honor you!
All the Church proclaims this true faith
taught from above
by the angels, as they worship the one true God.
They cry: “Holy, holy, holy!"
Let this be sung
here on earth, as in the heavens,
forevermore.
Glorious and Most Holy Trinity, we ask to you to accept the fragrance of this incense and to protect us, that we may raise glory and thanks to you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.
Qadishat Aloho. Qadishat Hayeltono. Qadishat lo moyuto. EtraHam 3alayn.
You are holy, O God. You are holy, O Strong One. You are holy, O Imortal One. Have mercy on us.
قُدُوسٌ أَنْتَ يا الله، قُدُوسٌ أَنْتَ يا قَوِي، قُدُوسٌ أَنْتَ يا مَنْ لا يَموتْ، إِرْحَمْنا
Holy and immortal Lord, sanctify our minds and purify our consciences, that we may praise you with purity and listen to your Holy Scriptures. To you be glory forever. Amen.
Syriac: ramremain
Praise and glory and honor
to the Holy Trinity,
Father, Son, Holy Spirit,
one true God, in persons three.
Shout with joy from the mountains
to the Holy Trinity.
Offer praise to the Lord God,
one true God, in persons three.
Lord our God, you accepted
what the just had offered you;
now accept, in your mercy,
our pure sacrifice and prayers.
A reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Romans. Your blessing, Father.
Glory to the Lord of Paul and the apostles! May the mercy of God descend upon the reader and the listeners and upon this parish and her children forever. Amen.
Brothers and Sisters:
So that you may not claim to be wiser than you are, brothers and sisters, I want you to understand this mystery: a hardening has come upon part of Israel, until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved; as it is written, “Out of Zion will come the Deliverer; he will banish ungodliness from Jacob." “And this is my covenant with them, when I take away their sins." As regards the gospel they are enemies of God for your sake; but as regards election they are beloved, for the sake of their ancestors; for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. Just as you were once disobedient to God but have now received mercy because of their disobedience, so they have now been disobedient in order that, by the mercy shown to you, they too may now receive mercy. For God has imprisoned all in disobedience so that he may be merciful to all. O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! “For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?" “Or who has given a gift to him, to receive a gift in return?" For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen.
(Romans 11:25-36)
Praise be to God always!
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Lord our God, you accepted
what the just had offered you;
now accept, in your mercy,
our pure sacrifice and prayers.
(Luke 11:28)
Alleluia!
Before the proclamation of the Gospel of our Savior, announcing life for our souls, we offer this incense and ask for your mercy, O Lord.
Peace be with you.
And with your spirit.
From the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew, who proclaimed life to the world.
Let us listen to the proclalation of life and salvation for our souls.
Remain silent, O listeners, for the Holy Gospel is about to be proclaimed to you.
Listen and give glory and thanks to the Word of the living God.
The Apostle wrote:
Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
(Matthew 28:16-20)
This is the truth! Peace be with you!
Praise and blessings to Jesus Christ, our Lord and God, for giving us his words of life.
